Have an Idea?
But need help making it a reality?
The ILC Foundation supports educational opportunities that increase student awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the timber, forestry, and forest products industries.
Funding may be requested for field trips, classroom projects, guest speakers, educational materials, career exploration activities, and other educational experiences related to forestry, logging, wood products manufacturing, natural resource management, and related careers.
Priority will be given to programs and field trips that:
• Provide students with direct exposure to the timber, forestry, forest products, or natural resources industries.
• Increase awareness of career opportunities within the forest sector.
• Promote understanding of sustainable forest management and responsible stewardship of natural resources.
• Support educational opportunities within the Intermountain region, including Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon, Idaho, and Western Montana.
• Demonstrate meaningful educational impact and benefit a broad number of students.
If your program received support from the ILC Foundation, please fill out a Post Program Report, and let us know how the event went. We love to hear stories, and see photos of the impact being made with students.
